Celebrate the first anniversary
of Today's Kitchen Store
Today's Kitchen Store is marking its first year in downtown Wooster on Saturday, October 8, with a full slate of activities, including a drawing for Cuisinart cookware.
In order to get your tickets for the drawing, bring in a kitchenware item to be donated to People to People Ministries by 1 p.m. Saturday.
First prize is a 14-piece stainless cookware set; with a stainless steel double boiler for the second-place winner and a 12-inch, non-stick fry pan for third place. You must be 18 to participate, but do not have to be present to win.
And then there's the "Just Desserts Taste Off" from 1-3:45 p.m. Participants include Muddy Waters Cafe with a caramel Apple New York-style cheesecake, a dark chocolate mousse by South Market Bistro and Tiramisu from El Rancho Grande. Vote for your favorite and the winner will be named at 4 p.m.
Stop in Saturday at 116 S. Market St and congratulate owners Rick and Cheryl Davis on their first year (of many, we believe!)
